I've been using mine for more than a year and it's held up to whatever I throw at it. I enjoy the versatility of the bag's shape and my typical load is:
1 3-subject notebook
3 books for classes
1 small umbrella(just in case)
1 laptop pc
assorted pens/highlighters etc.
Granted that my laptop is lighter than others but it's bigger than a netbook and I've never had any problems. The strap is also detachable at each joint so it could be replaced if needed.

It made a great gift. It's just the right size for notebooks and other school supplies. Only problem is the shoulder strap; I don't think it's quite long enough. But I do love all the little compartments for misc. things. -- Black Paratrooper Bag
The devilery was super fast! It came 2 days after I placed the order! The bag is light and sturdy, the strap is a little shorter than what I expected but other than that, it is absolutley perfect! -- Exactly what I wanted
I purchased this bag only because I wanted to put pins and patches all over it. When I got it I was disapointed becuase the color wasn't anything like the Khaki in the picture. I tried to put my make-up bag in it with everything else I carried but I made it look werid. I still enjoyed the bag great for shopping at the mall. -- Ok, not great
We bought this as a bugle carrier. Though it doesn't get a lot of use, it seems well constructed and gives every indication it will hold up for a long time. Nice sized main area and additional pockets. -- Bought this as a bugle carrier...
