I bought this swiss army knife this past week to go on my keychain. In terms of size and function, I think it's the best deal out there - small length of the classic, with scissors, flathead/philips, screwdrivers, tweezers, bottle opener, pen, and nail file. You can upgrade to the midnite manager with a light, but as I already have a 1AAA light on my keychain which is much brighter, I opted for the regular manager as I won't have to deal with replacing the silly little button cell batteries.

I've had other multi-tools and SAKs, and I find for a keychain tool I don't need all the outdoorsy utilities like the awl, the can opener, the saw, the multiple - if you need a heavy duty multi-tool, you might as well go all the way and use a full-size leatherman. For something small enough to fit in with your keys, and to handle everyday home/office tasks, the manager is perfect.

I purchased the Sapphire blue Manager and it's an incredibly handy little tool to have around and good looking! I keep it on my keychain. I chose this over the other small Swiss Army knives for the pen, bottle opener, little phillips and tweezers. The blade assists me in opening packages or mail, the scissors are very sharp and great for trimming a broken nail, cutting a stray thread, a coupon or gift wrap for that last minute gift you purchased on the way to the party. The pen is ready for a quick grocery list. It's always on the keychain, so much handier than digging to the bottom of my purse for a pen! The tweezers are very useful with a good grip to yank out a stray hair, and very thin so they slip under slivers easily to help extract them. I find them more useful than standard tweezers. The cap lifter is convenient for a bottle of microbrew and it has the phillips screwdriver that is just the right size for the battery compartment on a lot of toys. I'm very pleased with this little Victorinox knife! -- Gorgeous and functional!
This is my favorite among the 58mm keychain sized Swiss Army knives. This smaller series is easier to carry along with your keys.

Among the smaller Victorinox models, the Signature line (of which this Manager is part of) is particularly interesting because they have a tiny pen that you can use in a pinch. I never normally have a pen in my pocket - unless of course when I have one of these mini tools with me. Like other Victorinox models of this size, there is a knife blade, very useful little scissors, nail file with small screwdriver, and tweezers. One more tool that makes this model outstanding is the combo-tool: beer bottle opener with a small Philips screwdriver tip.

There are small 58mm series knives that have more tools, but they get a little too thick for pocket/keychain use. The ones that also have a light in them are not bright enough, in fact they are downright dim - you are better off with a separate keychain LED light. So this Manager is the best mix of tools for daily use in my opinion.

I highly recommend this model. By the way, Amazon usually has the best prices on Victorinox knives. -- Best set of tools among smaller swiss army knives
This knife combines the best combination of size and tools. It is the small version which fits conveniently on a keychain.

It includes a bottom opener which is very rare for this size knife.

The scissors and knife open on the side opposite of the keychain ring, which is very intuitive. Many of these knives have the scissors or blade open on the same side as the keyring, which is very awkward if you have this knife attached to a keychain.

The order I use the tools are: scissors, bottle opener, blade, flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver, tweezers, and pen.

Everyone should have one of these on their keys. -- Best Size and Combination of Tools
I lost my good old Victorinox Rambler knife (damn you, Staples center security) so I was looking for a replacement. The toothpick in Rambler is really useless to me (I prefer disposable ones) so I picked this knife. All the blades work fine, except for the pen that didn't work at all from day one.

Other thoughts: I think a knife with a light instead of the pen would be useful too. I know that there is Midnight manager with a pen and a light, but I like the tweezers. -- Great knife if the pen worked
